SOUTH LONDON FOOTBALL WALK RAISES OVER £21,000

On Sunday June 7th 50 people from the football and lung cancer community came together for our first ever Carry The Ball Walkand raised over £21,000 an incredible achievement.​

​

 

We kicked off  at London's oldest Club Cray Wanderers FC (Flamingo Park Stadium) then made our way to the Valley home of League one side Charlton Athlectic FC,

 

Part 3 took us  across to the Den Millwall FC , then on to to Premier league Crystal Palace FC (with a short pub stop in Dulwich on the way)

 

A total of 28 miles later for some we  finished with medal presentations and a drinks event at Hayes Lane the home of London's newest  EFL club Bromley FC.​​

​

​Each walker was given a carry ball t-shirt and aroud 100 people celebrated the success through the evening

​

A massive thank you to everybody who took part, the volunteers and the clubs for their support and of course to everbody who supported them with thier kind and generous donations.

We are planning next years walk already and you re invited to join us !
